Holy Cow!

I was looking around and saw how long it's been since I have posted anything!  My little baby girl is now 11 and has braces already!  She's growing up so fast.

She started taking violin lessons again and is getting better and better!

Me?  I have one Grandie already and another on the way (No, not Bekah's, Julie's! )

I still cannot get over all that hair!  I love it!

I have been knitting.  Our local library started a knitting group on Wednesday Mornings. I am loving it!  learning so much and just having a grand time getting out and being with others who love playing with fiber. I've made some hats to donate and now I'm working on a blanket for the newest grandie coming in June.

I started the year out rather poor and decided that I didn't need to be buying new yarn for projects when I have so much already started and yarn bought for projects never started....so I am Cold Sheeping this year. It started out from necessity and now it's become a drive to stay away from buying now yarn. Full confession, I did buy the gray yarn pictured in the photo above, but in my defense I am letting go of 6 other skeins in order to complete this blanket. I had the others in my  stash, but needed a bit more to make up the full yardage I wanted. so I bought 2 skeins to let go of 6 others. IMHO, I'm still cold sheeping!

I did make a visit to my BFF in Ohio last September. I helped her out and she taught me to quilt. Now I have gotten back into sewing and have been making bags and another quilt. More bags and other projects, Lots of bibs for Ethan and some to give away. I'm having grand fun on my Grandmother's 1970's Bernina! I'll find those pictures later!  Enough for now.

What I am grateful for today: My family.
